Location: Cairns. Full-time positions. Must be permanent Australian resident

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cabinet Makers to join our workshop team.

The ideal candidates will have a strong background in cabinetry, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble cabinets, furniture, and other wood-based products based on design specs
Use various woodworking tools and machinery to complete projects to the highest standard
Ensure accurate measurements, cuts, and finishes in line with project plans
Work with a team to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workshop environment

Requirements:

Trade qualification in Cabinet Making
Proven experience in cabinet making and workshop assembly
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Strong attention to detail and high level of craftsmanship
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging projects
Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean, organized workspace

We are also seeking a dedicated Joinery Machinist / Labourer to join our team.

You will assist in the manufacturing process, operate machinery (including edge bander & CNC), and ensure materials are prepared and processed to the highest standards. Working closely with our production team, you will ensure efficient workflow, accuracy, and quality in every project.

Main Tasks & Core Objectives:

Safely and efficiently operate woodworking machinery, including edgers and hand tools
Assist in the preparation, cutting, and machining of timber and board materials
Apply edge banding to materials using edge banding machines to ensure high-quality finish
Collaborate with the production team to ensure project timelines are met
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment
Follow company processes to uphold quality standards
Support tradespeople in assembling and finishing joinery items as required
Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and storage
Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations

Required Qualities:

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
Hardworking, reliable, and positive with a strong work ethic
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
Good organizational and time-management skills
Strong teamwork and communication abilities
